Important Notes to Level Set:


Welcome to the Crooked Creek Hideaway!

Here's everything you may need to know about your visit. Please look over this prior to your arrival. If you have questions about your visit, most likely what you're looking for is in here:

 CHECK IN: 4 PM
CHECK OUT: 10 AM

WIFI: Network - Starlink  | Password - Cabin64! (Note, there is no cell service in this area.)

ADDRESS: 68 Swamp Rd. Pleasant Mount, PA 18453

 ARRIVING: Google Maps will bring you directly to the driveway but Apple Maps does not! It is a brand new cabin and Apple is still not downloading the address properly. These are the direct coordinates: 41.786549,-75.281477. Once you arrive at the lodge, walk to the front door and you will see an electronic lock. That code is 921711.

 PARKING: There are plenty of vehicle parking spaces located in the drive and there are two RV parking sites for 40’ RVs. Dry parking with hydrant and 110-electric plug for basic use. Please no dumping here.



Couple NOTES:

1. Pet Policy: **This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note, if we find evidence of an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and guests will be charged a $400 non-refundable fine. This is also grounds for immediate removal of the guests from the home.

2. No Smoking: If any signs of smoking are documented, the renter agrees to pay a $200.00 / per day.

3. Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time. 

4. This home is equipped with a security camera outside for the protection of home and safety of our guests.

5. Upon booking, each guest will receive a guest rental agreement. This must be signed before the House Manual (which includes access instructions for the property) is sent. 

6. Note, at this time there is no A/C located in the lodge or hunting cabin. 


**Specific amenities we are providing to get you started:

- Linens for each Bed

- Towels and Washcloths

- Paper Towels 

- Bottle of Dish Soap 

- Detergent

- Trash Bags

- Coffee

- 2 Rolls of toilet paper, per bathroom 

*But please be prepared to bring any additional supplies that you will need*

 

 DEPARTURE: This info will be sent to you the night before checkout in a separate message.

 TRASH: Please place your trash in the dumpster located along the drive beside the road on the right.

HVAC: At this time, we do not have A/C at the lodge.

 BATHROOMS: The main lodge has 4 baths. 2 on the first floor - one with a standing shower and one with shower/tub combo. 2 on the second floor - one with a standing shower and one with shower/tub combo. There are also two portable toilets outside that can be used if needed.

TV: We have a smart TV located in the living room on the main floor of the Main Lodge. Sign into your preferred streaming service to catch up on all of your favorite TV shows while on vacation.

REFRIGERATORS: There are 3, full size, refrigerators available for you to use to keep your food cold. These refrigerators have ice and water dispensers in the doors.

 RANGES: There are 2, Whirlpool gas ranges with 5 burners on top, and 2 bakers on the
 bottom.

 WASHER & DRYER: These are located on the main floor of the lodge. There are two washers and two dryers for you to use that are located inside the closet to the left of the front door. For your convenience we have included detergent for the washing machines.

OUTDOOR KITCHEN: Take your food prep outside for easier clean up. There are two burners that can be used to keep kettles hot and a 5 ft. wide stainless steel griddle is ideal for making large amounts of food. There is a fan and lights on the hood above the griddle with easy touch buttons on the front.

To the left of the griddle, there is a hole that goes to 2 trash cans. Please empty these trash cans when necessary and dispose of trash at the end of your stay. These trash cans can be accessed by the drawer on the outside of the kitchen.

 OUTDOOR SINK: From Oct. 1 to April 30, the outdoor kitchen is drained and winterized. You
 won't be able to use it to wash dishes. Thank you for understanding.

 GRILL: The pellet grill is located outside on the back patio. When done using the grill please use the provided brush to clean off the grill. This will help our cleaners out IMMENSELY.

GAME ON: For the spirited and competitive, our retreat has a full-size basketball court with 2 hoops, 2 pickleball courts, a life size chess game, a deluxe 8-player croquet set, bocce ball, spike ball, cornhole, quoits, and a volleyball court on turf.

GAME CLOSET: For the card game lovers, we have Rook, Uno, and Dutch Blitz. The game closet is located on the 2nd floor, right outside Bedroom 8. When you take games from this closet, enjoy using them, then please make sure all the pieces are there when you put it back so other groups can enjoy these games too.

 GAME DRAWER: The game drawer is the top drawer located all the way to the left in the main kitchen. When you take games from this drawer, enjoy them, then please put rubber bands around the cards, and make sure all the pieces are there when you put it back so other groups can enjoy these games too.

 A-FRAME SWING: Head down to the water and spend a relaxing time on the A-Frame swing down by this creek.

PA STATE FOREST: For the avid explorer - enjoy PA’s State Forest. State Game Lands No. 159, consists of 9,446.5 acres, as you cross the rickety bridge at the back of our property, get ready to explore the vast forest. The terrain is rolling and wooded. Note: We ask that you do not hunt at Crooked Creek Hideaway and refrain from bringing any firearms on the property.

FISHING:  You can fish in the creek. Bring your own gear.

SWIMMING:  Swim at your own risk! You are welcome to swim or wade in the creek. Note, this water is cold!

 QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours for the property are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please keep the noise levels down over this time.

 EARLY CHECK IN REQUESTS: Before you arrive in town, we need to ensure our previous guests have checked out, that the maid service and maintenance has been through the unit, and that linens and towels are fresh and ready for your visit. All this takes time and needs to be done before you check in.  Due to this tight timeframe, we don’t allow early check-ins.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

 PLEASE NOTE: CHECK IN TIME IS ANYTIME AFTER 4PM. The code you've been provided (above) will only work starting at that time. Please make your travel plans accordingly.  Also, if you need anything at all before or during your stay, just send me a message and we will try to accommodate!

 CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS

 Hi,

I hope that you have enjoyed your stay so far! I would like to remind you that the check-out time is by 10 am, unless agreed otherwise.

 If you have time it would be amazing if you could wash your dishes, pick up all the trash and throw away all food items before you depart. Also, if you moved any furniture please place it back to its original position the way you found it. Finally, make sure all the windows are down and locked, and turn all lights off before departing.
